Patriot’s Lullaby

As with many of our songs, this one started out as a warm up jam during one of our recording sessions back in 2015. We really liked the chord progression so Valentine decided to write some lyrics to go with it. I came up with a melody and adapted the song structure to fit the lyrics, and then we got back together and recorded it all again. But it still wasn’t perfect, so we set it aside and moved on.

With Dave on board as bassist, we gave this one another shot in 2019.  April Gaston had been sitting in on some of our sessions and we realized her voice would be perfect for this tune, so we asked her to sing along. And the rest is history.
